Active ingredient: propiverine (propiverine hydrochloride)

Indication: frequent urination during the day or bedwetting can have various causes. For example, an overactive bladder or a neurogenic (affecting the nervous system) primary disease could be the cause. In such cases, Mictonetten® 10 mg can be used to reduce frequent urination and improve bladder control in the case of existing problems (enuresis).

Mictonetten® 10 mg can be used in children aged 5 years and older with overactive bladder. It can also be used in children from the age of 1 if bladder problems are caused by a neurological condition. Hierüber entscheidet der behandelnde Arzt.

Dosage, type and duration of use:

  • Depending on the prescription, one or more Mictonetten® 10 mg tablets daily
  • Whole and with plenty of water
  • Every day at approximately the same time and before a meal

The consulting doctor decides the exact duration of use and dosage of the medicine. Combined treatment with Mictonetten® (5 mg) and Mictonetten® 10 mg may be useful to reduce the number of tablets to be taken.

Hoppla – toilet training support for children and parents

Hoppla is a website, which is designed for young patients who are struggling with toilet training, and for their parents. It explains the topic in a child-appropriate and playful manner. The best part is the free bladder diary in which you can record your fluid intake and the number of trips to the bathroom in real time. The recorded data can be exported and printed as a PDF file after at least two documented days, so that it can be used when you visit the doctor.
